Details

The center of the house is its wooden hall on the top floor with its large fireplace. The hall seats around 80 people and offers sleeping possibilities for 32 people on mattresses in the open sleeping galleries. The top floor also features a sleeping room (2 beds) and office (with pay-phone) for the organiser. The ground floor has 4 showers, 3 toilets an 1 urinal. The kitchen is equipped for approx. 35 people. Lounge and workroom on the same floor.

Description

Welcome to the boy and girl scouts headquarters and hostel of the ORION division in Biel. It was established in 1960 on Paul-Robert-Weg 19 in Biel-Ried and is open to groups throughout the year. Its location is perfectly suited for all sorts of outdoor activities, and yet it is only 5 walking minutes from the next bus stop. The building is located directly on the edge of the forest. There's a pitch/playground close by.

From train station take bus no. 8 (stop "Ried"), by car follow directions (Mühlebrücke-Schützengasse-Ried)

Celebrations: Little parking space, where possible guests kindly arrive with public transport.

Cooking and catering facilities. Summer: CHF 12.00 per person and night, min. CHF 240.00 per night. Winter: CHF 12.00 per person and night, min. CHF 240.00 per night. Prices incl. extras. Bring along sleeping bag.
