Three rooms to rent able to accommodate up to 6 people in an old characterful house, located at an altitude of 1200 m. Breathtaking view of the Alps, in a very quiet location outside the village, surrounded by meadows and on the edge of the forest. On the Chemin des Crêtes du Jura and the Via Francigena.
Conditions/extras
Located on the 2nd floor (no lift), 3 bedrooms with 2 single beds (90 x 200 cm) each, lounge and fully-equipped kitchen shared by all guests. Bathroom for guests with toilet and shower. Free Wi-Fi, kettle with tea/coffee. Extra bed for a young child available on request. Access to garden with garden furniture. A heated garden cabin. A fondue can be served by prior arrangement.
In summer, ideal for hiking in Mt-de-Baulmes, Chasseron, Val de Travers. In winter, illuminated downhill ski slope only 200 m away, cross-country ski trails and marked snowshoe trails pass in front of the house.
Private parking space in front of the house. Space for sports equipment, bikes, skis or motorbikes.
Non-smoking. Pets not allowed.

How to find us:
By car: From Yverdon-les-Bains, follow the signs to "France" or "Neuchâtel" from the centre of the village of Sainte-Croix. At the “Col des Etroits”, take the dead-end road marked “Riverains autorisés” (residents only) signed “Mont-des-Cerfs”. Follow this road for about 1km; the house is the first on the left as you climb the hill.
By public transport: Take the TRAVYS train from Yverdon-les-Bains to Sainte-Croix. A bus leaves Sainte-Croix station for Auberson; get off at the "Col des Etroits" bus stop and you are a 6 minute walk from the house. Buses for Sainte-Croix, Auberson, la Côte-aux-Fées, Buttes, Les Rasses and Bullet also stop at the "Col des Etroits” bus stop.
