It was originally the fruit of the co-operation between the Sandoz Family Foundation, the Lausanne Hotel School and Siemens and was designed by Kurt Hofmann, architects. The chef welcomes you with a gourmet cuisine favouring local produce as well as an opening to the world cuisine. With its large picture windows, the place offers a unique view of the lake and the Alps. In summer, the terrace overlooking the lake is an invitation to day-dreaming. Open 7/7, from breakfast to dinner, it also serves brunch on Sunday from 12:30. Its state-of-the-art technology makes the Palafitte Hotel a vision of what a hotel should be while still meeting the rigorous requirements of a five-star establishment.
